Cancellation PolicyCancelations will be accepted through February 27, 2026. SAME regrets that refunds cannot be issued after February 27, 2026, except for uniformed service and government. You may transfer your registration to a colleague if circumstances prevent you from attending the conference. The substitute must be a member of SAME or become a member to attend.

Registration Transfer:
To transfer your 2026 Capital Week registration to someone else in your company, please have the substitute register for Capital Week. The substitute must be a member of SAME; this is a member-ONLY event. On the Payment page, the new individual should click the down arrow for the “Payment Method” and select “send invoice” from the menu. The Registration should then be submitted but a payment by credit card not made. An email to registration@same.org should be sent when this is completed to request the transfer. The original registration will be canceled and the fee paid will be transferred to the substitute’s registration. Refunds cannot be issued when the process is not followed. Registration transfers must be submitted by COB (5:00 p.m. EDT) on Friday, March 20, 2026.  After this deadline, the substitute must visit the Help Desk onsite to complete this process.
